Rules and Regulations for the Woodridge HOA
|
As a result of the excessive use of signs in the neighborhood we want to take a moment to remind everyone of the HOA sign policy and provide an addition to the rules and regs.
Per CC&R exhibit B (B) (4) Limitation on Signs. The Association may regulate or prohibit all signs, to the full extent allowed by State law. The Association's sign rules will limit the number of signs on any Unit to one sign, not to exceed 24 inches by 24 inches, and may establish any other guidelines or restrictions including duration, location and appearance of signs.
For clarification purposes the board voted to establish a rule to limit the number and placement of signs, this rule was approved by the board on April 18, 2023, and goes into effect May 1, 2023:
- Limit of (1) standard size “for sale” in the yard of a listed property.
- Limit of (1) Directional sign placed at the entrance of the neighborhood.
- No more than (4) “A” or sandwich boards to advertise an open house or garage sale. Signs may be placed no more than (1) hour before the event and removed no more than (1) hour after.
- All signs must adhere to the maple valley sign ordinance in addition to HOA rules.
- Signs are not to be placed on any lot that is not for sale (unless protected by law), any common area, or easement space within the neighborhood.
- No signs are to be placed on mailboxes.
